William Henry Roberts (Born 25 October 1847)

“[William Henry Roberts] born October 25, 1847, in Botetourt Springs, Virginia. Roberts attended Roanoke (Va.) and Richmond colleges, and graduated from the Theological Seminary in Chicago. He served with the Confederate Army during the Civil War. He was a missionary under the American Baptist Missionary Union in Bhamo, Burma, from 1879 until 1913, serving among the Kachins….He retired in 1917. Died December 24, 1919.”
